    Mark Bocek is one of Canada's first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts and has been studying the art for more than a decade.

    He first studied under Rickson and Renzo Gracie and then moved on-to Nova Uniao where he received his Black Belt through Joao Roque.

    A list of his accomplishments include:

    * Current UFC Fighter
    * Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
    * Black Belt in Kempo Karate
    * World cup BJJ champ
    * 3x Pan Am medalist
    * North American Abu Dhabi trials champ
    * 2x grapplers quest u.s. national champ
    * 5x Canadian grappling champ
