This privacy policy covers the use of the website located under the domain and subdomain http://www.indiemart.com and the services provided by Indie Mart Inc. ("Indie Mart"). By visiting this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Pursuant to Indie Mart's Terms of Use, you must be 18 years and older to use this site or have permission from a legal guardian. Therefore, this policy makes no provision for individuals under 18 years old. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Indie Mart does not own or control.

Indie Mart is affiliated with a variety of businesses and works closely with them. These businesses may operate stores on the Indie Mart website or sell items to you from the Indie Mart website. Indie Mart may also provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. Due to the nature of Indie Mart's business model, when an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, you will share customer information that is related to such transactions with that affiliated business. Indie Mart doesn't operate its own stand alone payment gateway but use one provided with a third party, which stores all your financial information. We sell or rent personal information to third parties Indie Mart stores for their marketing purposes. You might receive notification from stores on specials and services from that store if you haven't opted out of receiving the emails about promotions.

We gather data across all user accounts and disclose such information in a non- personally identifiable manner to advertisers and other third parties for their marketing and promotional purposes. In these circumstances we don't disclose passwords or personal financial information to these third parties in a personally identifiable manner without your explicit consent.

Your profile is displayed throughout Indie Mart, therefore available to the public. All of your activities on the site will be available by your User ID. Other people can see your feedback rating and associated comments, your postings on Indie Mart and so on.

Indie Mart may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. Indie Mart will transfer information about you if Indie Mart is acquired by or merged with another company.
